InfoPro
is currently a group of around 60 full-time employees and a dozen part-time
staff. It produces more than 25 products. Its sales have
steadily grown each year. It has developed skills in advertising sales,
subscription and book sales, content generation, online products, research to
leading businesses in a variety of fields, and geomarketing. It has won the
trust of more than 1,000 advertisers, more than 4,500
subscribers, tens of thousands of readers and
dozens of research clients.
InfoPro has earned a reputation for dependable information, ethical business
practice, and of being a good corporate citizen.
InfoPro's debut came with the publishing of Lebanon Opportunities,
which has become the country's leading business magazine. The success of
Lebanon Opportunities has opened the door to the publishing of several
information-based magazines and reference books.
InfoPro was successful in developing a strong advertising department generating
a sizeable percentage of the company's income. An outbound call center was also
established that sells thousands of subscriptions and books each year.
In
1999, InfoPro purchased Middle
East InfoSearch (MEI), a market research company and renamed it
InfoPro Research. It has become the leading provider of research
to many business sectors, including banking, insurance, construction, and
technologies.
In
2002, the InfoPro Center for
Economic Information was established as a civic organization.
In
2004, InfoPro signed an agreement
with New York-based publishing company McGraw Hill to
co-publish BusinessWeek in the Arabic language for the entire
Arab World.
In
2005, InfoPro signed an agreement with the Saudi
Research and Publishing Company (SRPC) for the distribution, printing and media
sales of BusinessWeek - Arabic Edition. The agreement also stipulates that
BusinessWeek - Arabic Edition be distributed to all Al-Eqtissadiyah
subscribers, Saudi Arabia's daily business newspaper. In October, BusinessWeek
- Arabic Edition was launched and distributed in all Arab countries.
In
2006, InfoPro started
its web content management services by undertaking two websites:
lebanonundersiege.com.lb and rebuildlebanon.gov.lb in the wake of the war on
Lebanon. These sites became references to all government and NGO work related
to the war and its aftermath.
In
2007,
The new Business Development Services division was launched offering SMEs financial consultancy and training.
